Ayrton Zonda 9 FX (*)

Description

The Zonda 9 FX is the first fixture in a new product family for stage lighting, equipped with a powerful 40-W LED light source featuring additive RGB+W color synthesis.
This luminaire features a custom-designed optical system consisting of a wide ring of 37 PMMA lenses with a diameter of 384 mm, combined with 37 glass light guides whose exit surfaces are coated with an optical microstructure. This combination of LEDs and the optical system produces a powerful light output of 25,000 lumens and a perfectly homogeneous blend of pastel and saturated colors, regardless of the selected color mix. The perfectly sharp separation between the light sources helps to enhance the contrast. Equipped with a 50-mm transmission lens with a cut-off edge—whose optical surface corresponds to that of a round 70-mm lens—the Zonda 9 FX can
produce an extremely intense beam of light with a zoom ratio of 14:1 and a wide zoom range from 4.0° to 56°.
