The MatrixPRO Serial Digital Series 8×8 SD\/HD-SDI Video Switcher<\/b>\u00a0from\u00a0Barco<\/b>\u00a0is a switcher designed to manage SD\/HD-SDI signals. It features (8) inputs and (8) outputs. Inputs can be switched to any one of the outputs with no crosstalk or signal noise between channels. This model is SMPTE 292 compliant for all input sources. The switcher can be used as a standalone solution or combined with other Barco products to form a custom application.<\/p>\n

Other features include input-output grouping, which allows the matrix to be divided into smaller sub-switchers for easier installation and control. Input-output grouping also permits specific outputs to be grouped together, such as those designated for a specific purpose, for example. The unit features vertical interval switching for all input channels.<\/p>\n

It can be controlled via its front-panel interface or via its Ethernet port using IP control. The switcher can also be controlled remotely with the separately available MPR-C216 or MPR-C116 units. The front panel features a large LCD to facilitate management and the front-panel interface can also be locked out to prevent access and tampering. This unit includes a rackmount design and is also field upgradeable, ensuring its ability to support future enhanced functionality and features.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
